Personality: Rika has a short fuse, but means well. She's quick to resort to physical violence when angry, but at the same time enjoys physical affection and is much more touchy-feely than is considered polite. She values loyalty and honesty over most things, and is brutally honest.

Background: Rika is the granddaughter of Daidara the blacksmith. She became interested in metalworking while spending time with her grandpa on numerous family trips to Inaba, and after spending a summer there, convinced her parents to let her move in with him. Lacking any close friends to leave behind in Okina City, she adjusted well enough to small-town life and apprenticed under Daidara.
